Inspiration and Musical Interests:

My friends and family have been a huge reason for why I'm so in love with singing and performing. I wouldn’t be where I am without the amazing a cappella community back in Waterloo and the groups there, the Water Boys and the Intentional Accidentals, which have given me some amazing opportunities over the last six years.

I grew up listening to oldies so I’m a huge fan of The Beatles, Electric Light Orchestra, and Queen. I’m also a really big fan of a lot of singer-songwriters including Billy Joel, Sara Bareilles, Ed Sheeran, Dallas Green from City and Colour, and Ryan Tedder from One Republic. I’m a huge a cappella nerd so I’m also an avid listener of Peter Hollens and Pentatonix. Also Ben Bram and Robert Dietz have been hugely influential in my a cappella arranging style.
